The Dark Sword is a sword weapon that can be obtained as a Monster drop from Haunted Skulls in the Quarry Mine or dungeon levels in The Mines.
Striking a monster with a Dark Sword has an 8% chance of restoring an amount of Health equal to half the damage dealt, if it is below max. [1]
Notes
- When striking multiple enemies, the Dark Sword has an 8% chance to leech health from each target.
- Damage dealt by explosions may also trigger healing as long as the Dark Sword is held. This includes the 999 damage inflicted upon downed Mummies by explosions, which will heal the player for 499 health.
- It has the slowest speed, highest weight, and highest critical strike chance of any sword in the game.
- Starting in version 1.5 the weapon effect is shown as the vampiric enchantment. Enchanting this item in the forge will change the enchantment.
