|Open Hours:||9am to 5pm|
|Closed:||Non-rainy Saturdays (Building Open, no sales)|
The Fish Shop is the home of Willy. It's located on the docks of the Beach, south of Pelican Town. If the player has not read the mail from Willy sent on Spring 2, then this shop cannot be entered. Although the door will unlock on Saturdays, the shop will be closed unless it is raining.
Willy offers a variety of fishing supplies inside, including rods, bait, tackle and crab pots, and more goods become available as the player increases their fishing skill. These items can be bought from the shop as soon as the appropriate skill level is achieved, without needing to wait until the next day.
Note that the Copper Pan unlocks in the Fish Shop after obtaining the first one from Willy in the cutscene after completing the Fish Tank Bundles or purchasing "Panning" from the Joja Community Development Form. Trout Soup, the Training Rod, and the Bamboo Pole are available as soon as the Fish Shop is open.

Willy will buy the following items from the player:
- All Fish
- All Bait
- All Fishing Tackle
- Beach Forage and Shells, specifically Clam, Coral, Nautilus Shell, Rainbow Shell, and Sea Urchin
- Roe (but not Aged Roe or Caviar)
- Squid Ink
He will not buy any other catchable items (Trash, Green Algae, Seaweed, or White Algae).
If the player chooses to sell items to Willy, there is a chance they will appear in the list of items for sale, especially if sold to Willy in large quantity. Any of these items will be available for purchase in limited quantities. Additional villager dialogues may appear indicating they've seen or purchased the items.
After repairing the Community Center or JojaMart, Willy mails the player an invitation to the back room of his shop. On arriving, the player finds a hidden dock with an old boat that can be repaired to travel to Ginger Island for a fee of 1,000g. Once the boat is repaired, the store's doors unlock at 8AM, though Willy's own schedule is unchanged. He doesn't need to be in the shop to ride the boat.
- The boat's hull needs Hardwood (200).
- The ticket stand needs Battery Pack (5).
- The iridium anchor needs Iridium Bar (5).
- By Fishing inside the boat room you may catch a Lifesaver.
- Interacting with the ladder at the back of the shop results in a message that suggests Willy lives upstairs.
- ↑ See game code in ShopMenu::setUpStoreForContext, case FishShop.
- 1.4: Player-derived stock sold to Willy appears in the Fish Shop menu instead of at Pierre's General Store. Added Training Rod and Copper Pan to shop stock.
- 1.5: Large Fish Tank, Small Fish Tank, and Fisher Double Bed added to shop stock, Willy's Boat appears.
