The Island Farmhouse is a building on the Ginger Island farm. It is initially in a state of disrepair, making it unusable. It can be repaired for 20 Golden Walnuts. The repair includes the addition of a Shipping Box outside. Repairing the farmhouse allows players to ship goods, cook without a Cookout Kit, and spend the night on Ginger Island without passing out. Like other Golden Walnut purchases, the construction/repair happens immediately upon payment.

The farmhouse cannot be accessed until the player unlocks Island West. Neither the house nor the shipping bin can be moved. Once it is repaired, the player has the option to pay another 5 Golden Walnuts to build a mailbox and receive their mail each morning on the island.

Interior

Like the mainland farmhouse and cabins, players can decorate the interior of the island farmhouse with furniture, wallpaper, and flooring. When it is first unlocked, it comes furnished with a kitchen and a Tropical Bed for each player.

Notes

• If the island farmhouse is repaired, the player can spend an indefinite number of days living on Ginger Island without returning to the mainland. However, spouses, children, and farm animals cannot be moved to the island.
• After repairing the farmhouse, purchasing the mailbox, and unlocking the beach resort, the player can then build a Farm Obelisk next to the farmhouse for easy travel back to the mainland.
