The Midnight Carp is a fish that can be found in the mountain lake and Cindersap Forest pond during the Fall and Winter late at night. It can also be found under the same conditions on many of the non-standard Farm Maps: Forest, Riverland, Wilderness, and the large pond on the Four Corners Map. It can also be found in the Ginger Island pond and river.

Midnight Carp can be placed in a Fish Pond, where they will reproduce every 4 days. The initial pond capacity is 3 fish, but the capacity can be increased to 10 by completing three quests. The only possible output is violet Midnight Carp Roe.
