D.I.Y.

I've been staring at the name of this achievement for months, and I still don't have a clue what it stands for. Does that make me a Deficient Idiot Yokel? Anybody - please reveal the mysteries! Butterbur (talk) 09:54, 14 October 2017 (BST)

Ha ha! Thanks. Never would have guessed. "Acronym" is my fifth language, and a bit of a fifth wheel at that; I find it difficult to acquire the vocabulary. (It's seldom remembered that the original meaning of "to encrypt" is "to place in a tomb".) Appropriate for most uses today, when one wants to bury the meaning. Least accessible of the dead languages, where learning it becomes a real undertaking, and applying it induces mummery overflow!

Bugged Earnings Achievements

Somehow, I've managed to earn "Cowpoke" and "Homesteader", but I haven't earned "Greenhorn", which I should have hit first. Dirt Creek (talk) 15:26, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
