Why not include the note about the blobfish being the highest value fish that is not legendary? We could also mention that it has the highest value roe? Though Caviar beats it when aged. Numberland (talk) 09:10, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

- Doh! I would say that it's really off-putting to new editors to have lots of their edits removed without reasons though, see particularly the roe examples on the preserves jar page which now I see should be Lava Eel not Blobfish roe - once I've verified what class Roe is/whether it benefits from any profession benefits and processing times, am I okay to add Lava Eel and Sturgeon Roe back and not have them removed? - But the whole point is to cross reference use of the Preserves Jar - if you do it on a separate page you can't do that. I'm going to create a table of all the Roe values as according to the formula on the Roe page. I would suggest that if you don't want two (I included those because they are the highest value so give an upper bound to the value gain for Aged Roe and the actual value gain for Caviar. - That's a good point, we want to know what to use the Preserves Jar for - crops or roe. But does the Tiller profession bonus apply to roe? I assume the Artisan Profession applies to Aged Roe, but have not had time to verify. These things need to be taken into consideration before making big edits to the page. The extra processing time for Caviar also needs to be explained in the basic formula at the top of the page. And possibly other things I haven't thought of... So, making a sandbox page in your user space might be a good way to get the kinks worked out before committing changes to the main page. margotbean (talk) 18:27, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

- Okay, so I've verified for the fish I have in ponds that the Aged Roe and Caviar are affected by the Agriculturalist profession, that Roe is not affected by any of the price professions. I've also realised Roe and Aged Roe have different colour icons for each fish so I think I need more image files. Numberland (talk) 21:47, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
- Agriculturist? I hope you mean Artisan, since Agriculturist makes crops grow 10% faster. Colored roe images will be difficult, since they aren't in the sprite sheet, but are produced programatically. I would be fine with pink roe for all fish and black roe for Sturgeon. margotbean (talk) 22:49, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
