Was this event removed? I can't seem to trigger it. I've got several hearts with both Dwarf and Krobus, and full hearts with the Wizard. I've gone into the sewers day and night but nothing happens. "he"?

From everywhere I've looked, in and out of game, Dwarf is never explicitly gendered outside of a piece of dialog the fortune teller gives you during the Stardew Valley Fair where they are referred to as a "lady" and "she", (presumably out of lacking any kind of gender flag? or that's what I hear people guess why this happens). I attempted to edit out all the "he"s I could to reflect Dwarfs ambiguity instead of using language that is inconsistent with what we know by suggesting the false idea that Dwarf is confirmed male somewhere. The only section i could not edit this is the blurb right before their loves/likes/hates, as i am not very wiki savvy, and I believe it would be best for the consistency between the wiki and the game if someone helped correct that one as well.

If there is some external source for dwarfs gender or pronouns being confirmed that I somehow missed, that should probably be sourced in the trivia section simply because it would be rather obscure knowledge. Puerlunae (talk) 08:35, 29 May 2018 (BST)

We had a discussion on the use of singular "they" on the children's talk page, and it was rejected. Repeatedly using "Dwarf" is awkward, but preferable to singular "they", since the Dwarf hasn't expressed that he/she/ze/they prefer to be called "they". margotbean (talk) 19:01, 29 May 2018 (BST)

If singular "they" is disallowed on the main page, we should probably line up Dwarf's pronouns with the one suggestion of their gender we do have (the diviner's word) so it's at least not contradictory. As is, "she" is suggested once and "he" is not suggested anywhere. If an archaic gender-neutral "he" is necessary, there should at least be a note of their gender ambiguity so no one is misled.
