Slime Hutch space allocation

The Slime Hutch has an internal size of 113 available tiles, of those, about 103 are available for use. I was able to fit 70 kegs in that space. Even though this is far from optimal, this is perhaps useful info to be added to the Keg page along side the barn and shed info?

If someone's going to make a slime hutch anyway, it is noteworthy that roughly the same number of kegs can be crammed into that as a shed: so players know that those extra 45 tiles of space (Shed size - Slime Hutch size) aren't entirely wasted. Kenji 03 (talk) 13:07, 30 September 2019 (UTC)

Interesting use of a Slime Hutch! I think in this case the information is definitely noteworthy, but a picture says 1000 words. Happen to have a screenshot? margotbean (talk) 18:01, 1 October 2019 (UTC)

Passage of Time

Many articles have new simplified text for describing the passage of time. (Hooray for the bug fix!) But there also used to be a difference between equipment processing times between equipment placed outdoors and that placed indoors. Is that now also fixed? Was it one bug, or two? If two, do both need mention somewhere? Butterbur (talk) 00:19, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

I can't see anything about that in the change log, although it's possible that it is part of the same fix. Likely need to do some testing to confirm. One thing I did spot however is a potential third thing that may need mention. From the changelog: "Fixed time not passing for machines inside of farm buildings during festivals." Metalax (talk) 00:39, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
Ah yes, I've experienced that one too, and it is different from the others. Nice to have that one gone too. The reason I asked about the symptoms I described is that it could have been an artifact of one or both of the others. I'm thinking that perhaps equipment placed indoors experienced time just as all things do in v1.4, while outdoors it may have received the extra "sleeping time" benefit. A discrepancy always did seem to show up more for wine than for shorter processing periods, and showed more prominently when I went to bed earlier. Then again, I'm not sure it was that regular. Keg Notes Category

In the Keg page, there is a category for notes that has a really confusing sentence in it and I don't know the mechanics for time in SDV. The sentence is: "Note that processing times are approximate, since time passes differently from 2am to 6am. One hour = 60 minutes from 6am to 2am, but 1 hour = 100 minutes from 2am to 6am." Margotbean, I *know* all the pages read the same. And they are *all* confusing, as per this comment. Instead of reverting me, why don't you try to come up with something better and also better to your liking then? Otherwise, leave my rewording. It, at least, is better than what is there.
