I've been writing down whenever the train goes by. It might be random, or it could be on a schedule that changes from year to year. Queen of sauce repeats recipes on even/odd years. It might be something like that. Hiprosa (talk) 09:21, 10 May 2016 (EDT)

Aye, I've found the same thing, winter trains that didn't have presents. In fact, I think regular trains are more common than trains full of presents in winter. I've updated the page. Thank you! margotbean (talk) 16:24, 22 February 2018 (UTC)

Secret Area

I was trying out the boundary breaking in my world in the railroad, and I noticed that there's a path on the far north of the map. This has a warp to another location that's just a collection of random glitched textures. What is this place, and why is it there? I believe that area was called the top of the mountain; it was cut from the official game before its release. There are a few youtube videos of players exploring there. margotbean (talk) 10:53, 1 March 2019 (UTC)

Does the Railroad map count as part of The Mountain?

1.5 Update New Area

Hi, I've been looking online for any info about the new area in the 1.5 update and eventually landed here. North of the train tracks there is a stairway blocked by a boulder with a dumpster to the right. I only recently purchased a PC version and haven't fully upgraded my pickaxe, but I can't break it and I'm curious if anyone else has been able to remove this boulder. Is this a placeholder for later access to the top of the mountain area??? Mtnrose (talk) 15:15, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Spoiler alert: This area is unlockable, but the boulder is not breakable. You need to see Mr. Qi on Ginger Island before you can unlock it. margotbean (talk) 16:58, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
