Does anyone know how long the incubator takes to incubate an egg? --Theevocater (talk) 12:48, 2 January 2017 (UTC)

After 3 days you get a notification at the start of the day stating a new male/female slime hatched. --Vg-tal (talk) 22:41, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
It's actually 2 days, they hatch on the second day after the start of the incubation. --Vg-tal (talk) 02:52, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

Pathing Maps for Cindersap Forest?

May I put in a request for someone to create a pathing diagram for Cindersap, like the ones for the town and mountain? Many thanks! They are very helpful. Butterbur (talk) 04:04, 18 June 2017 (BST)

Where exactly does the newly hatched slime spawn if the Slime Incubator is blocked (in various ways)?

1. If the bottom tile (the tile that's directly below the incubator) is obstructed, where does the newborn slime spawn?
2. If the 4 neighbouring tiles (no diagonals) have something on them, but the 4 diagonal tiles are clear, where does the slime spawn?
3. If all 8 neighboring tiles are occupied, where does it spawn?

You can incubate slimes inside your house.

I assume there are other buildings that work too, but I noticed that nowhere mentions this. Not sure if it's intended functionality ofc. ArcaneFocus (talk) 18:27, 21 January 2021 (UTC)

I found a user claiming (in 2017) growing slimes in your house once married would result in behavior from the spouse. [to the forum post] -- I intend to test this myself once my current file character is married. ArcaneFocus (talk) 18:05, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
LOL there is dialogue in the code that suggests that's possible: Spouse_MonstersInHouse": "Um... Honey? Why are there monsters in the house?"Efarn (talk) 04:47, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
That is fantastic haha. Other entries[[1]] in that forum thread suggest that characters have different reactions? Definitely testing this with Sam on my current file ASAP. I'm really curious if roommates like Krobus have the same dialogue or reactions. Though definitely not essential information for the wiki, I find this deeply entertaining.
