The cooking#Recipes page lists recipes of every dish, using mediawiki shorthand. Vegetable Stew is not found here because it doesn't exist as a real page. I do not know if changing the page name from Vegetable Medley will help or make it worse. Maybe the original "Vegetable Stew" page can be recreated without the link to Medley, and added to the cooking list.

The best option would have "Vegetable Medley/Stew" in every instance.

Eh, I think having the redirect should cover it. The item name is vegetable medley, even if the cooking interface references it as stew. I think having Medley/stew all over creates the potential for more confusion, not less. Katzeus (talk) 15:35, 8 September 2017 (BST)
As a point of information, why do you say that Vegetable Medley is its name? The only in-game reference I've seen is from the cooking interface, and in other articles the in-game names seem to take preference over alternates, simply by virtue of the direct exposure to the players. That's the rationale that makes sense to me. So, if I'm not missing something, I'd suggest that the best course would be to rename the article to Vegetable Stew, and make Vegetable Medley be the redirect and adjunct name. (Item names that appear only in the code should not matter unless there's nothing else that names them - if that's where medley comes from.) Butterbur (talk) 07:39, 10 September 2017 (BST)
