hello I was trying to replace elliot's character but then I forgot to back it up can I have the original Elliot file because my game wont start without it

Merchant Section

I removed the newly added merchant section because I think it adds too many separate categories of villagers. It also formats the page so there are fewer villagers per line and players have to scroll down more to see everyone. I think it could be helpful to know which villagers are merchants, but I really don't like the design impact to this page layout. Maybe adding [[Category:Merchant]] to each of these villager articles to have a new category would be more appropriate. Katzeus (talk) 13:14, 14 July 2017 (BST)

Reason for last edit

Appears to be formatting for either narrow or wide screens. As long as they're still in alphabetical order, I'm going to let you and the editor decide what's best. margotbean (talk) 17:20, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

For the moment I've fixed the formatting to appear how I believe they intended it. Personally I prefer how it was before as this new layout doesn't take advantage of bigger screens (and making it bigger will still scale down for smaller screens.) I was guessing as to general usefulness, but found the change beneficial for the window size I generally use on my PC (not full screen). Wouldn't want to impose limits on others, but took the layout size from the bachelors and bachelorettes. Each of those lists, however, contains only 6 NPCs.

I've just introduced another edit that takes a different tack. This one eliminates the multiple encoded "galleries" in the list of non-marriageables, placing the entire list in a single gallery. I find that also works great for me. But I suspect it may straighten things out for anyone else, as the formatting for the entire list should now be automatic, based on whatever screen or window anyone has. No longer will artificial breaks be introduced into the list. Let me know what you think. Feel free to cancel out my changes if you encounter problems. Butterbur (talk) 18:43, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
