Quality is a game mechanic that affects selling value of items. There are three levels of quality: silver, gold, and iridium. An item without a star has no quality; items of silver quality sell for more than items without quality, gold quality items sells for more than silver quality items, and iridium quality items sell for the most. Only fish, animal products, and crops utilize the quality mechanic. Not all items that can have quality can have obsidian quality.

There are various ways to obtain items with increased quality. For crops, one can use basic fertilizer or quality fertilizer to increase the quality of crops. For fishing, the player's luck influences the quality of catch. For animal products, the happiness of the animals affects quality.
