I'm just another user, not an admin, but I saw you're new to wiki editing, so I can confirm your user page is for your own use, such as introductions. Generally, anything can go on your pages, but it's good to keep everything wiki-related. It's not a chat area, blog, soap box, or social site. I've created your user page for you, with a standard header. It's for discussing general things with other users, as needed: as in this first message.

Article pages contain the wiki's information content and editing them can be high-impact and is governed by fairly strict rules. This wiki is translated to 11 other languages, so careful editing is needed. "Be bold" in editing, so they say, but also be ready to be reversed quickly, especially as you learn about the process. Such things are not to be considered criticisms; rather, they reveal the particulars of what's appropriate to editing and in wiki presentation of information - use them to learn. Article pages each have their own talk pages, for discussion with other editors about issues that arise concerning article content.
