Luck

Hello CharType! Welcome to the wiki! I do see your point about how the luck page was confusing daily luck with luck buffs gained from eating food. I've made some changes that hopefully help in that area. The main issue I had with your change was that several pages on the wiki link to luck, and almost all of them are talking about Daily Luck. So, my thought was that the page needed to emphasize daily luck over luck buffs (at least until I could go through every page that links to luck and clarfy it). As I did more research, though, I discovered that the two kinds of luck affect almost 100% of the same things (the reddit article is a little bit out-of-date). So, as I continue to research, I will add exceptions to the page (instances where one type of luck affects a thing but the other does not). I'm very glad to hear that! It's important that the page makes sense for you and for any new players that come to the wiki. ...And for everyone else as well.

I'm still looking at the game code, and haven't come across any instances where one type of luck has an influence and the other does not. But it's ongoing research. Luck appears a lot in the game code.  :) margotbean (talk) 19:00, 8 April 2018 (BST)
