I have left comments indicating the reasons for my edits. It's fine to disagree, but as moderator, I need to keep pages consistent. If you prefer "debuff", then kindly change all alcohol pages to say "debuff", as I indicated in the comment to the edit. As a moderator here, you're doing a very good job of making it difficult for people to contribute good content this wiki. Your justifications are flawed, as I stated in my comments. Buff is factually incorrect; debuff is the correct term. If you want to keep it consistent, change all the others. "They" is the correct English gender-neutral singular form. You reverted someone who was trying to improve the wording without any discussion, and reverted me when I corrected your ill-informed view on grammar. I agree in with Margotbean in this case - specifically regarding the 'debuff' point. Your reasoning is fine, but terminology needs to be consistent on the site not just in that single article.

In the future the correct course of action is to discuss this on the appropriate talk pages, not to make more work for moderators by pushing the same edit. Cramming through the same edit over and over after it's been reverted by staff is considered spamming, and against site rules. I understand you're trying to help, and I appreciate that, but you're making more work for yourself and staff by editing this way - it's best for everyone to take it to discussion pages when there is an edit dispute.
