The Walleye is a fish that can be found in the river (in Pelican Town or Cindersap Forest), the Mountain Lake, and the Cindersap Forest pond during the Fall or Winter when it is raining. (A Rain Totem is required to make it rain in Winter.) It can also be found in Garbage Cans, during Fall and Winter, or it may randomly appear in the Traveling Cart's stock for 
315-1,000g.
If the player chooses the Forest Farm, Walleye can also be caught in the farm pond.
Strategy
Even though you can get the Walleye from different locations, the chances to get it are not the same at each location. If you need to catch the Walleye quickly, it is optimal to get it in the Cindersap Forest pond (a 32% chance per cast).
