The [[Training Rod]] is a special [[Tools|tool]] used to catch [[fish]], but it can only catch basic fish. It can be purchased from Willy at the [[Fish Shop]] for {{price|50}}from [[Fish Shop|Willy's Fish Shop]] if the player has difficulty with the fishing minigame.
The [[Training Rod]] can catch only basic fish, and does not allow the use of [[Bait]] or [[Tackle]].
