Magic Bait can be attached to a [[Fiberglass Rod]] or an [[Iridium Rod]], or inserted into a [[Crab Pot]]. Fishing rods do not require bait, but fish will bite faster with bait; this specialized bait provides the ability to catch any fish from that source regardless of weather, time, or season. [[Fish#Night_Market_Fish|Night Market fish]] can be caught using Magic Bait in the southwest corner of the [[Beach]]. Bait is always a single-use item.
20 Magic Bait can be purchased from the shop in [[Qi's Walnut Room]] for {{price|5|gem}}. Alternatively, the recipe can be purchased for {{price|20|gem}}
