The '''Furnace''' smelts [[Blacksmith|Ore]] into Bars, to be used in several [[Crafting]] recipes. [[Clint]] gives you the blueprint for the Furnace in a cutscene the morning after you collect at least 1 [[Copper Ore]]. ('''Note:''' It does not matter where or how you obtain the copper ore, only that you take one into inventory.) You must exit your house between 6am and 11:30am to trigger the cutscene.
If you have not yet met Clint when he comes to give you the blueprint, the meeting will count as an introduction. However, you must play the entire cut scene for the game to record the introduction. If you do not, Clint will not be added to the list of villagers you have met.
