You must have an [[Iridium Rod#Fishing Poles|Iridium Rod]] to equip tackle. An Iridium Rod allows both tackle and bait to be used simultaneously.
Tackles have a durability-bar, which decreases on use.(Eventually they wear out and need to be replaced.)
