'''Slime eggs''' can be obtained as rare drops from [[slimes]] in the [[Slime Hutch]] or by putting 100 [[slime]] into a [[Slime Egg-Press]]. They can be hatched into slimes at a [[Slime Incubator]]. Since the drop rate of Slime Eggs is quite low, it is recommended to produce them via the Egg-Press if you want a colorful horde without spending hours and hours in [[The Mines]]. They can be sold at different prices depending on the rarity. The Slime egg can be hatched into slimes at a [[Slime Incubator]]. The incubation takes 4000 minutes in game time, which amounts to 3 entire days (6 am to 2 am) and 6 hours.
There are four different egg types that will hatch a slime of the respective color: '''green''', '''blue''', '''red''' and '''purple'''. Green eggs are by far the most common ones, and purple the rarest.
