[[Slimes]] produce '''Slime Balls''' in a [[Slime Hutch]] on a daily basis, but only if the water troughs are filled. There must be either one male and one female slime or at least five slimes of one sex present before Slime Balls can be produced. Slime Balls cannot spawn on [[Crafting#Decor|crafted flooring]], and slimes do not need to be able to reach the water troughs to produce slime balls.
