While playing the game, in my second year of Summer, Friday the 5th, the ancient seed appeared in the Traveling Cart. I noticed that the wiki did not show this. I do not know the percentage of chance for this however.

The '''Ancient Seed''' is an [[Artifacts|Artifact]] that can be found by digging up an [[Artifact Spot]] in [[Cindersap Forest]] or [[the Mountain]]s (including the [[Quarry]]), or obtained from [[Fishing#Treasure Chests|Fishing Treasure Chests]]. It is also a rare drop from [[Bug]]s, [[Grub]]s, [[Cave Fly|Cave Flies]], [[Mutant Fly|Mutant Flies]], and [[Mutant Grub]]s (0.5%). There is also a small chance to find it from the [[Traveling Cart]].
This artifact can be [[Crafting|crafted]] into viable [[Ancient Seeds|seeds]] that can be planted to grow an [[Ancient Fruit]] in [[Spring]], [[Summer]] and [[Fall]], or in the [[Greenhouse]].
