→Mining Nodes: I can confirm via multiple playthroughs that gray stones are treated like ore nodes.
The chance for Gem Nodes to appear is very small, but is slightly increased by Mining Skill level and Daily [[Luck]]. The chance for Mystic Stones to appear is also increased by Mining Skill Level and daily [[Luck]].
Gray stones are treated similarly to ore nodes, but only drop 1-2 stones when broken. With the Miner profession, this increases to 2-3 stones, though it has no impact on the random coal dropped by these nodes.
