The '''Woodskip''' is a [[fish]] that can be found in the [[Secret Woods]] in any season. It is most prevalent there on non-rainy days, comprising 15% to 27% of all items caught in the pond in the Secret Woods, depending upon [[Fishing#Fishing_Skill|fishing skill]]. The woodskip is most likely to spawn farther from shore, so a longer cast will modestly increase the odds of catching it instead of the [[carp]] which are also in the pond.<ref name="spawnrate" /> The woodskip can also be found on [[The Farm]], provided the player chose the [[Farm Maps|Forest Farm]].
