Internally, the game code explicitly subtracts the time of day from the processing time -- potentially with the intent of having a single fixed completion time for all tappers -- but the subtraction uses 100 minute hours instead of 60 minute hours.
One key implication is that players who wish to have [[Pine Tar|pine tar ]] available for making [[Speed-Gro]] at the end of the [[Egg Festival]] (10 pm 10pm Spring 13) need to place their tappers either on Spring 7 or '''after''' 5 pm on Spring 8; tappers placed on the morning of Spring 8 will not be ready until the day after the festival.
