[[Coconut]]s and [[Cactus Fruit]]s can be found throughout the area, along with a number of fellable [[Trees|trees]]. Interacting with them will sometimes drop a coconut, but [[Tapper|tappers]] bear no items.

[[Sandfish]] and [[Scorpion Carp]] are present here, which the player is able to catch. The Sandfish is needed for the {{Bundle|Specialty Fish||y}}.
The pool pond is in the northwest area of the desert in front of the [[Skull Cavern]].

It's also possible to fish at the southern pond, when [[Fishing]] skill is high enough for the bobber to reach the water.
