Description
This template inserts a square opening bracket; the optional parameter can be used to insert multiple brackets.

Notes
- Can be used to create a wikilink within a template, when using brackets directly might cause wrong parsing (since it can be read as an opening for a link).
- Or can be used within a template to search a string for the presence of a link (see Template:Season for example). Other options such as nowiki tags are somewhat erratic.
