The '''Prismatic Shard''' is a [[Minerals|Mineral]]. It is one of the rarest items in the game. It can be obtained from [[Omni Geode]]s, [[Mining#Mining Nodes|Iridium Node]]s, [[Mining#Mining Nodes|Mystic Stone]]s, [[Mining#Mining Nodes|Gem Node]]s and [[Fishing#Treasure Chests|Fishing Treasure Chests]]. It is also a rare drop from [[Serpent]]s, [[Mummy|Mummies]], [[Shadow Brute]]s, Iron [[Slimes]] at [[Quarry Mine]] and [[Shadow Shaman]]. They have a small chance (0.05%) to be dropped by any [[Monsters|monster]] after the player has reached the bottom of [[The Mines]]. A [[Rainbow Trout]] [[Fish Pond]] has a very small chance to produce 1 Prismatic Shard when the population of the pond reaches 9. One may occasionally be found in a [[Skull Cavern#Treasure Rooms|treasure room]] in the Skull Cavern.
