Even though you can get the Walleye from different locations, the chances to get it are not the same at each location. If you need to catch the Walleye quickly, it is optimal to get it in the Cindersap Forest pond (a 32% chance per cast).
Removed suggestion to fish for the walleye in the Cindersap Forest. Tip claimed it was a 32% chance. Spent nearly the entire time period fishing there without getting a single one.
If the player chooses the [[Farm Maps|Forest Farm]], Walleye can also be caught in the farm pond.
