The Rain Totem may be placed as a decorative item (by left-clicking the mouse). To ''activate'' a Rain Totem, select it in inventory and "use" it (right-click with the mouse, directly on top of your character).
The weather in [[Pelican Town]] and [[Ginger Island]] can be different. Depending where that the rain totem is activated will effect on which region the weather is changed.
The Rain Totem will not force the weather to be rainy on festival days or on the 1st day of a season.
