The '''Old Mariner''' is an NPC in ''[[Stardew Valley]]''. He is a ghost that appears on the east side of the beach.
The Old Mariner sells the [[Mermaid's Pendant]], a [[marriage]] token. Two conditions must be met for him to appear:
*The bridge on the beach must be repaired
*The weather must be rainy
:'''Note''': The snowing weather condition does not make him appear, making it impossible to see the Old Mariner will never appear during winter, regardless of weather conditions.
If the player has a relationship with an NPC that is 10 hearts and a bouquet has been given, the player may purchase the pendant for 5000g. After using the pendant he will say, "Glad the Amulet worked out for ye, lad/miss." If a player is not eligible for marriage, he will say "I've got this old amulet to sell... but somethin' tells me yer not ready for it, lad/miss."
