Mining an iron node will yield between 1 and 3 iron ore. These nodes become common around level 40-50 in [[The Mines|the Mines]]. It's fairly easy to farm Iron Ore and [[coal]] by killing [[Dust Sprite]]s there.
Iron ore can be smelted in a [[furnaceFurnace]] to create an [[iron barIron Bar]]. The smelting requires 5 iron ore and 1 [[coal]] to begin and takes 2 hours to complete.
