'''Iron Ore''' is obtained by mining [[Mining#Mining_Nodes|iron nodes]] with a [[pickaxe]]. It can also be found in [[Fishing#Treasure Chests|Fishing Treasure Chests]], [[Garbage Can]]s, or any of the 4 types of [[Minerals#Geodes|geode]]. It can be purchased from the [[Blacksmith]] for {{price|150}} in year 1 and {{price|250}} in year 2+. It may also be dropped by [[Metal Head]]s or [[Stone Golem]]s in [[The Mines]], or obtained by [[Copper Pan|Panning]]. The [[Traveling Cart]] may occasionally sell it for {{tprice|10}}.
These nodes become common around level 40-50 in [[The Mines|the Mines]], and may be abundant at levels 70-80. It's also fairly easy to farm Iron Ore and [[coal]] by killing [[Dust Sprite]]s there.
Mining an iron node will yield between 1 and 3 iron ore.
