*Carp will never sell for more than {{Price|67}} under any circumstances, making it more efficient to turn them into [[Carp Surprise]] (sell price {{Price|150}}) or [[Sashimi]] (sell price {{Price|75}}) before selling them. (Four Sashimi are more profitable than 1 Carp Surprise.)
*Carp are one of the easiest fish to catch, never moving past the 2nd or rarely 3rd bar on your fishing meter in the fishing mini-game, making it easy to get "Perfect" on your catches.
