* When striking multiple enemies, the Dark Sword has an 8% chance to leech health from each target.
* Damage dealt by explosions may also trigger healing as long as the Dark Sword is held. This includes the 999 damage inflicted upon downed [[Mummy|Mummies]] by explosions, which will heal the player for 499 health.
* It has the slowest speed, highest weight, and highest critical strike chance of any sword in the game.
