Why not use a fence?

The article recommends using statues as a hacky way of penning in slimes... but why not use the actual item designed for that purpose? I just have my slimes penned in with a hardwood fence inside the hutch. That has the added bonus of having a gate in it, so if I need to go in, I can, eg. to thin the numbers, collect the slime balls, etc., and it also means I don't need to create my own slime incubator (which is expensive until you have a good stockpile of iridium) Giftiger wunsch (talk) 21:45, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
