Game not running in Steam but can run as administrator

Not able to run the game through Steam. The launching dialog box appears and goes, nothing happens. Nothing in Task manager showing StarDew. The word running disappears from next to the name of the game in your library, proving that it doesn't run.

To get around this I located the .exe file under Steam>>Steamapps>>common and right clicking and run as administrator. This is a way to play the game however, it does not log time within Steam and **MAYBE** not given credit for achievements (haven't got that far yet)

POssible issue with Windows 10... Haven't heard anyone say they used it fine with Win 10.

Hey, I moved your post here from the admin noticeboard. That's not really a place for for game tech support, you'd be best posting on the official forums (linked in the sidebar).

Can you run Steam as an administrator? I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue, not sure how much help I can give - sorry. I'd try the forums, and if no luck there maybe reddit... -- Katzeus (talk) 01:19, 6 March 2016 (EST)
