Requesting Major Edit: Mac Mod Groups does not work.

I've never made edits on a wiki before, so I'm unsure exactly of how to. But maybe someone could help me if we decide to add this to the wiki.

Mac mod groups don't work/aren't compatible with 1.4.2. I am unsure if its simply because of the version of the game, or if it never has worked, but I do know it is not currently able to work. Three people on MacBooks have tested now to no avail (via both .command files and via steam launch options being changed). I believe the page should be updated so that the linux/Mac section is strictly for Linux only, and a separate section that says Mac with it being written that mod groups are not compatible with Mac. This way, people who play on Macs aren't given misleading information.

However, if there is someone out there who has gotten mod groups to work on the latest update of Stardew, do speak up! That would mean we would probably make an edit different from Linux's mod group instructions instead, because the instructions posted there currently do not work for Mac.

It had actually been worked on in that server! That is where we had other people test it. So far, nobody has had luck. Thank you for the suggestion, regardless! Who knows, maybe there is a work around that we just don't know of. Ktsuechan (talk) 16:49, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
