Stardew Valley was initially published by London game studio [http://chucklefish.org Chucklefish], best known for developing the space sandbox-adventure game [http://playstarbound.com Starbound]. Stardew Valley is now self-published by ConcernedApe on all platforms except mobile (PC, XBox One, Playstation 4, PS Vita as of 14 December 2018; Switch as of 01 October 2019). Chucklefish continues to publish Stardew Valley on Android and iOS.

Stardew Valley is available on PC (Linux, MacOS, and Windows), console (PS4, Xbox One, and Switch), and mobile (Android and iOS). A Wii U port was planned but canceled in favor of the Nintendo Switch.
