Yes, ConcernedApe "confirmed" that Legend can be caught in all seasons, because he didn't know the actual answer off the top of his head and referred to the Fish XML file, which is known to be wrong.

Wrong healing effects

It is +900 and +360 for the gold one (as shown in game). I have no idea how to change that since the only variable is "edibility" which has wrong math behind it.

Catching more then once bug

The note stating this is a bug should remain up until proven otherwise. The very fact that it's a legendary fish and the way the description is worded suggest this is indeed not the intended behavior. --Vg-tal (talk) 13:55, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

In v1.11 it doesn't seem like a bug to me because after you catch one you get the message "You've caught one of the legendary fish". It makes sense to me that this would be the case so that players can continue to experience the legendary-fish chase. McTilly (talk) 04:13, 30 January 2017 (UTC)

Since this issue persists in v1.2, I'm not calling it a bug anymore. If it is a bug, I don't see it getting fixed, so we might as well think of it as a "feature."

I've changed the text to read "as many as you can catch in one session" because that's been my experience. If anyone catches multiple Legends on different days in the same save file, please comment! Thanks margotbean (talk) 19:41, 19 October 2017 (BST)

Just caught my first Legend of a save file (12 Spring, year 2) and it rained again on 14 Spring so I decided to go back and encountered two Legends consecutively, definitely caught multiple Legends on different days in my previous save. As far as I can tell there's no change to when/how often it appears after you've caught it. Lesbianfarmer (talk) 01:54, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

As a side note, I've looked at the game code and at Fish.xnb and I don't see any differences between the Legend and the other legendary fish. If anyone figures out why it can be caught multiple times, please post it here! Thanks, margotbean (talk) 17:52, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

Catching legend in stormy weather

It is possible to catch the legend during stormy weather.
