Claim of catching South of Jodi's house.

I'd like to see some proof on the claim that it can be caught by Jodi's house which seems to have been added on the 21 October 2017 revisions by Thelibrary. One of the requirements set forth in StardewValley.Locations.Town:getFish() is that the catch happens in the top 15 tiles of the map. Quoting the relevant portion:

if (Game1.currentSeason.Equals("fall") && who.getTileLocation().Y < 15f && who.FishingLevel >= 3 && !who.fishCaught.ContainsKey(160) && Game1.random.NextDouble() < 0.2)
{
    return new Object(160, 1, false, -1, 0);
}

Of course, this game isn't without bugs so I don't feel comfortable removing that info from the page outright. I do, however, feel that this should be treated with skepticism. MouseyPounds (talk) 20:28, 25 March 2018 (BST)

I've been testing extensively (and I do mean extensively) and cannot get the Angler to bite south of Jodi's house. In fact, I cannot get the Angler to bite whenever my farmer is south of the 15th tile from the top of the map. Since there was no evidence provided for the edit, the editor hasn't returned to the wiki, and I can't replicate the statement, I'm going to remove it. Gold Star Angler

Being on the bridge seems to make it difficult to cast into deep enough water for gold star fish, but if you're standing north of the bridge instead, it's much easier. Left of the bridge goes one tile further north, and casting in to the center of the river, I was getting mostly gold stars, including an Angler. Sandman366 (talk) 15:47, 30 September 2019 (UTC)

Interesting! What platform are you playing on (PC, Switch, etc.)? Were you casting max distance (or close to it)? margotbean (talk) 18:03, 1 October 2019 (UTC)
Sorry for the late reply, forgot about this....but uhh, PC, and not max cast distance. I think it was around half-2/3? (At 10 fishing, at least.) Just get the lure to the middle part of the river, as far north as you can possibly stand and still be fishing at the river. Sandman366 (talk) 17:38, 18 November 2019 (UTC)
