Background Bushes?

The farms have some bushes/shrubs that can be cut but aren't the usual ones that drop wood or seeds. Like the salmonberry bushes or theones in the northeast corner near the Shipping Box, for example. Do these background plants respawn?--Enkidu (talk) 02:35, 17 October 2016 (BST)

I cut some down and slept for over a hundred days. It seems they don't respawn.--Enkidu (talk) 19:53, 21 October 2016 (BST)
The ability to cut down bushes must have been an early-game bug. I remember no such ability as of v1.11, much less v1.2.26, but I see no mention of a likely bug fix unless it's under v1.11 ("Fixed some tiles on the farm maps"). The bug is not there in v1.4, that's sure. Butterbur (talk) 23:08, 8 December 2019 (UTC)

Missing/Wrong Information

I think it would be a good idea to bring back the descriptions of the farm maps (Like in the early versions of this page), maybe infront of the facts for each map? (Also I'm not really sure where the "cliff" part of the forest map came from and why no one felt the need to correct it..) And maybe we should add the information which fish can be caught on each map, since that seems to differ. For example it seems to be possible to find Woodskip in the forest farm map. I also caught a Largemouth Bass on the Wilderness Farm. MutantCarp (talk) 21:30, 16 April 2018 (BST)

Four Corners Map

I don't know what method was used to count tillable and buildable tiles in the other maps, but someone who knows how should do this for the new one. ManaUser (talk) 21:17, 8 December 2019 (UTC)

I've probably made mistakes, and idk how to format, so here's what I've got. What I considered part of each quadrant was basically just squaring it off, following the walls that border exits to their obvious territories (there's a screenshot in the stardew discord)
tillable - crops can be planted. untillable buildable - chests and oak trees can be placed. mostly buildable - chests ok, no oak trees
Total: 3461 tiles, excluding water. 2952 tillable, 355 untillable buildable tiles (33 of which are quarry), 104 mostly-buildable tiles, 50 untillable unknown-restricttions tiles
NW Quadrant: 754 tillable, 41 untillable buildable tiles, 32 mostly-buildable tiles (3 are shrine - is it safe to place things there?), 4 hardwood spots (idk if it's buildable. would it grow over trees?)
NE Quadrant: 690 tillable, 117 untillable buildable tiles, 17 mostly-buildable tiles
SW Quadrant: 720 tillable, 14 untillable buildable tiles, 28 mostly-buildable tiles
SE Quadrant: 621 tillable, 59 untillable buildable plots, 0 mostly-buildable tiles, 33 quarry spots. (completely buildable, but would it grow over trees?)
Northern and Between paths: 0 tillable, ? untillable buildable, ? mostly-buildable, 46 untillable tiles (idk what can be put on them)
Center Area: 162 tillable, 13 untillable buildable plots, 17 mostly-buildable tiles (chests ok, no oak trees)
Southern Path: 5 tillable, 58 untillable buildable plots, 10 mostly-buildable tiles (chests ok, no oak trees)
I wouldn't've done this without Henrik Peinar's farm planner. There's a link to it and a screenshot in the stardew discord. You can ping me if you can't find it in there (@allora)

I think you're good to add links after this many edits, Alloradora, but here are the links caught in the spam filter:

Any standards for farm maps screenshots?

I uploaded sharper images of farm maps with the UI removed but the images were all reverted without explanation. What are the standards for uploading those kinds of images?--Spaceeinstein (talk) 03:01, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

The new versions do seem better. @Margotbean? —Pathoschild (talk) 03:38, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
Sorry, I missed that question on my talk page! I didn't see a good reason to keep duplicate images with file sizes somewhere around 200KB over what the Admin originally uploaded. margotbean (talk) 16:59, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
The new versions are larger, crisper, and don't have a floating in-game HUD. This was a new version of the existing files, so there was no duplication (unless you mean the history, in which case reverting the upload resulted in two duplicates instead of one). —Pathoschild (talk) 23:56, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
Is file size the main reason? Another file I uploaded (File:Minerals.png) is tinier than the original and that also got reverted without explanation.--Spaceeinstein (talk) 14:52, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
The change in height/width of Minerals.png threw off the links to individual minerals in Template:Collections Minerals. The bordered image definitely looks better, but the underlying table needs to be adjusted for it. margotbean (talk) 18:01, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
