Sprite Location

For anyone wondering where all of the sprites for Journey of the Prairie King are stored, you can find them in Stardew Valley\Content\LooseSprites\Cursors.png once you extract it from the .xmb :) Zornor (talk) 08:25, 15 March 2016 (EDT)

Star/Badge?

I always thought the "Star" powerup was supposed to be a sherriff badge (since the setting would fit). Any thoughts on that? - Maybe change the name? --Nocsis (talk) 09:35, 2 April 2016 (EDT)

I do sort of agree. Go ahead and change it if you'd like :) Zornor (talk) 09:44, 2 April 2016 (EDT)

Luck Citation

A Google search for "prairie king luck" returns several claims that luck does affect the game, explicitly calling out this wiki as being incorrect. I believe we should add the following citation to make folks less likely to waste time and effort waiting for lucky days and making lucky lunches before playing:

- Random elements of the game are not affected by Luck.
+ Random elements of the game are not affected by Luck (ConcernedApe has confirmed this publicly). <- Link this to twitter.com/ilyasmXD/status/1094738177791836161

However I can't make this change because it adds an external link. When I try to save it says:

This action has been automatically identified as harmful, and therefore disallowed. If you believe your action was constructive, please inform an administrator of what you were trying to do. A brief description of the abuse rule which your action matched is: Adding external images/links

Does anyone know how to reach an "administrator" to approve this edit?

I've added the reference to the page. In my google searches, the ConcernedApe tweet was the 7th result, but it doesn't hurt to add it to the page, since it's fairly recent (February 2019).
In the future, you can use talk pages, or you can post on the Admin noticeboard, there's a link in the left sidebar at the top of the page under the wiki logo. margotbean (talk) 20:54, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

Super Gun Removed?

I have been trying to get the Fector's Challenge achievement lately and on failed attempts have been playing hard mode a bit. I notice that the super gun isn't appearing in stores after i have all other gun upgrades, it just goes straight to sheriff badges. I'm not sure if it only has a chance of appearing or if it was removed but I have seen mention elsewhere of "balance changes" to hard mode. It was already nearly impossible to get the super gun anyway though... Anon43254 (talk) 05:40, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

I'm at a disadvantage here, since I've never played the game in hard mode. The change notes simply say the game has been "rebalanced", as you said. If you do come across the Super Gun, please post back so we know it hasn't been removed. In the meantime, I will put it on my "to do" list to check the code and see if I can find anything about it. Thanks! margotbean (talk) 17:52, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
So on a recent attempt I made it through 6 cycles of hard mode before dying. The super gun is still in the game however you need all of the gun AND ammo powerups for it to appear, I thought it was just the gun ones. My bad. Anon43255 (talk) 10:05, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for checking back in, I've added that info to the page! margotbean (talk) 15:06, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
