Pollen

Can anyone confirm if the weather pattern "Pollen" does anything? I seem to find a lot more forage items during it, including berries on bushes. Though I'm not sure if this is just chance. This is also in Spring for me. Lemmium (Talk) 12:26, 7 March 2016‎

Anomalous TV Reporting

I have seen the bug I just added here a couple of times, although it is intermittent and infrequent, unpredictable. When you check the "weatherForTomorrow" entry in the save file, it indicates sunny weather is coming tomorrow, but the TV reports the storm anyway. Play that day and sleep/save, and the weather is indeed sunny on the morrow. Butterbur (talk) 23:58, 28 June 2017 (BST)

The Modding:Weather data page says "Note: the TV will not necessarily be accurate for summer 13/26 or spring 2/4, which are force-set by the Game1::newDayAfterFade method." Are you experiencing this bug on those days or on other days also? margotbean (talk) 00:16, 29 June 2017 (BST)

I did experience it (the second time) on summer 26. But the first time was on summer 25. Yes, twice in a row, first from storm to sunny, second from sunny to storm. What does this "fade" refer to?

It's a rather frustrating cascade. Summer 27 was stormy also, after 26's storm. And Summer 28 is Moonlight Jellies, so there's no access to the beach all day. And I'd planned on rain on Summer 25, only to have it sunny on a day when I had too much else to do to go ocean fishing. So, these last four days of summer effectively blocked off my last chance to get a Pufferfish. Unexpected to get so little sun in summer! Butterbur (talk) 08:24, 29 June 2017 (BST)
