Inconsistent Display

This template is used on both the Tools and the Hoes articles, without parameters in both instances, but the display is different. In the Tools article, each of the hoe types is a link to the same inclusive Hoes article, with text appropriate to a particular upgrade. In the Hoes article, the links are gone and the text is displayed in bold. Given that in the latter case the links would be self-referencing, that's probably good there, but isn't that good enough also for the Tools page? After all, in the tools table a link to the Hoes article is already present in the title bar to the left!

This came to my notice as I created the new Watering Cans article, where this templates application of links ought to be consistent with that of Hoes in any case (and I don't know how to do that one). Butterbur (talk) 17:15, 21 June 2017 (BST)

Hoes and Watering Cans are the same now. margotbean (talk) 21:31, 21 June 2017 (BST)

Should Golden Scythe be its own item?

Since the golden scythe is a minor upgrade to the normal scythe, I think it makes more sense to put "Scythe (Golden)" than have both tools listed separately. Is there a reason why they got separated back out after I made that change? EpiglottalAxolotl (talk) 04:36, 28 November 2019 (UTC)

The tools are completely separate items, one is not an upgrade any more than the Galaxy Sword is an upgrade from the Obsidian Edge. So, it's clearer for them to have seperate entries in the navbox. margotbean (talk) 04:39, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
I'm not sure if I follow that logic. The Galaxy Sword and the Obsidian Edge are just two members of the large category of swords, which all have various strengths and weaknesses, whereas there are only two scythes, and one of them is (if I'm not mistaken) better than the other in every way. It's not an upgrade the same way a copper axe is over a normal one, but the golden scythe serves the function of an upgrade to the normal scythe. EpiglottalAxolotl (talk) 04:45, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
